Highway

Road sealant is a self-adhesive layer of crack-resistant, waterproof material. The structure is an organic combination of several anti-cracking and waterproofing measures, such as geosynthetic materials and stress-absorbing layer materials. It is an optimized combination and upgraded product of the current crack-resistant and waterproof materials between highway layers.

Road sealants are mainly used in new construction and maintenance projects of highways, general highways and urban road bases. It has high tensile strength, good toughness and good surface viscosity. It is suitable for roadbed and can prevent cracks caused by temperature effects and vertical loads from being reflected to the surface.

The high-strength and high-temperature-resistant fabric on the surface of the road sealant has a large tensile strength and can withstand the tensile stress of interlayer cracks, limit the development of crack width, play a reinforcing role, and improve the tensile strength of the local structural layer of the asphalt pavement.

The polymer in road sealants is a viscoelastic material with good low-temperature flexibility. Laying it between asphalt pavement layers is equivalent to setting up a composite layer with good viscoelasticity under low temperature conditions. Through the expansion of a good viscoelastic composite layer, the tensile stress at the crack gradually attenuates to a wider range, which can absorb the tensile energy.

Road sealant is laid on the surface of interlayer cracks to form a complete water-proof and anti-seepage layer, which can block the seepage path of rain and snow and reduce road water damage.

Road sealant is self-adhesive and easy to apply. After removing the isolation film, glue it directly to the crack. After using small compaction equipment to stabilize the pressure, the bond with the road surface will be stronger and there will be no movement, which can meet the construction requirements of asphalt mixture paving.
